Kids Come First Celebrity Golf Tournament
Communities In School of Greenbrier County (CISGC), in partnership with The Greenbrier Sporting Club, is pleased to announce the Inaugural Kids Come First Celebrity Golf Tournament hosted by Dallas Cowboys greats Troy Aikman and Daryl Johnston.
When asked about his involvement with CISGC and this fundraising event, NFL superstar Troy Aikman states, "I am pleased to be a part of this effort and to support CISGC by playing in their first fundraising tournament. I firmly believe in giving children every opportunity to succeed in education and in life - that's what Communities In Schools and this tournament are all about. I look forward to sharing a great day on the Sporting Club's course with others who support the work of this exemplary organization".
The golf tournament will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 at The Greenbrier Sporting Club. The entry fee is $500.00 per player and $2,000.00 per team. The registration includes cart fees, on-course refreshments, and players' reception hosted by The Greenbrier Sporting Club. In addition, each tournament participant will receive one complementary ticket to a special Meet and Greet event scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the West Virginia State Fair Event Center. This event will feature dinner, beer & wine, live music, and a live auction. Meet and Greet tickets are available to the public for $50.00 per person and are available online or by calling 304-645-5339.
