Better Together
“It takes a village,” is derived from an old African proverb which suggests that an entire community of people must become involved for children to have success and grow in a safe and healthy environment. CIS was built on this concept by connecting community resources and talents to children in need and sometimes... just simply being an accessible person in the school for a child to talk to. Our mission to “surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life” promotes and encourages this methodology.

Greenbrier County Schools
CISGC receives support from the Greenbrier County School District and collaborates closely with teachers, counselors, principals, and the Board of Education to ensure no student goes with needs unmet.
